Buy and Sell Books

It’s been years now that I have been contemplating of having a business that could help college students and their parents get the best out of their school budget. I have been planning to buy and sell used books to college students. In this manner, I can earn a little profit margin and at the same time help college students and their parents save financially from book needs.

There are several factors that are holding me back. First and foremost is capital to buy these books; second, location where to buy and sell the books; and lastly, which school should I pick to get the most sellers and buyers. The second and last reasons are easy, but the first one is difficult. Money is scare nowadays.

Anyway, I am still planning to pursue this business. Maybe I will focus on this when we finally settle to our own home. It is hard to start a business and then suddenly you move to another place because you needed too.

One of my classmates’ family is engaged in the printing press business, we’ve been talking about the kind of money making venture we would like to have after college and one said that she has a variety store that she runs and the money flow is good, another said that they have already put up a purified water station and although the capital for this kind of business is steep, it’s still a good investment because a lot of people nowadays prefer to drink purified water than the regular tap ones. This classmate that has a printing press for family business stated that they would also like to engage in postcard mailing services since they also have clients that encourages them to market their designs, which won’t be far from what they originally do – prints! If you’re to ask me what I would like to have as a business venture, I guess one of them is my webhosting business, since I always spend my time on the computer anyway surfing the internet, why not do something that’s just a mouse-click away?! Well, the second one would be to put up my own rice store, and then engage in postcard designs as well, since my classmate thinks that I will be good for marketing the product.

I guess I just really have nothing to say or blog about, not that nothing’s really going on with my life, aside from the fact that I haven’t been able to enroll because my children’s father failed to send his support on time, I was forced to withdraw my tutition so we can have something to spend until Friday.

It’s nothing new really, and I’m not surprised. He has failed us a lot of times all through out, and although it’s not at all pleasant, I just felt that even if I spill my guts out, he wouldn’t change and he will just be as well happy because, well, he’s Narcissistic that way. He loves himself, and I don’t want him to be happy. And actually, if he’s going to tell me that he didn’t have the time to send the money, hell, he added Chue just last Sunday, she used to be his love interest, I’m just not sure though if it’s the same girl, but yeah, if he had the time to look for her, I hope he realizes that long before that he promised his daughter that he will send the support so she can buy food. So now, her daughter is asking me about his promise, and I have to really be honest this time, I told her that “Sorry, your father didn’t send you any.” Why would I lie for him?

So moving forward, I decided to venture into hosting business, I am buying a net friend’s domain and hosting service that’s why I’m missing in action from blogging lately, I’ve been doing a transcription job as well as learning how to work out hosting and reseller hosting. This way I would still have something to keep us afloat.

Just really sucks though that although I have $15 with Social Spark, I can’t get it until it’s $50, $30 with BlogadvertisingStore but I can’t get it until it’s $100. But, life goes on.

It’s the love month, and I’m sure that most of you are feeling “love is in the air!” Seriously, I was thinking of making a meaningful and creative gift for my love one, and I was looking for an inspiration when I came across this wedding video on YouTube, a romantic love story that started with their fondness for OPM (Original Pilipino Music). Well, we’ve known Filipinos to be hopeless romantics, eherm! So anyway, while enjoying the video and the love story of this cute couple, I looked around and found that this short film was a creation of Buddy Gancenia, a few more clicks and a few more Googling, led me to his website where he showcases his talent for video coverage works. Of course, it’s obvious that I was drawn to find out more. While browsing around his website, I also found that he has done works for the likes of Sharon Cuneta and hob nobbed with the big wigs of Philippine entertainment business for his corporate video works. I encourage you to visit his site to find out more, and recommend his services to your family or loved-one. From what I read and learned about his website and watching his videos, Buddy Gancenia is one of the best corporate, events, wedding videographer in the Philippines.
