Watching High Definition Movies

When I have my spare time I watch movies, movies that are usually with high definition. To satisfy what I want in a movie definition, I usually connect my PC with a DVI interface to our HDMI enabled monitor. With that system I can view all my downloaded high definition movies, without even burning it to CD’s or DVD’s. Or, in case I have to buy a DVD movie, I will still use some HDMI cables from my DVD player to my digital screen. Viewing high definition movies makes a lot of thrill in me, and also fund to spend time with families.

I have been reading a lot of Samsung LCD TV reviews. I wanted to buy the latest Samsung LCD TV that shows almost similar real colors like you are watching outside the window. Unfortunately, when we are about to buy, they don’t have stocks available. So what we did, my husband and I, we chose a different brand. We were already too excited to have an LCD TV and we could not wait to bring home one!

Realizations in Verona

I was watching this movie about a woman who wanted to be a writer and was also engaged to man who wanted to run a restaurant at the city of New York. These two lovely couple went to Verona to celebrate their love with each other but they ended touring Verona separately.

Now, when the woman was touring Verona, she was able to meet a group of women whom were called the Secretaries of Juliet. To make the story short, one of her new found friend asked her why she wasn’t wearing an engagement ring to think that she was already engaged. Then she replied that his man was busy with his restaurant and because of that, she doesn’t need to really have one. But the woman replied, busy or not, she should have an engagement ring, not necessarily certified diamonds, but an engagement ring to tell the world about their plans of marriage.

Then, after that, the woman slowly realized their situation and how their engagement was not going too well. And in her course of stay at Verona, she has found a new Romeo in her life. Well, there is more to the story and how the adventure of finding her true Romeo came to be but if I share them all here; it wouldn’t be worth to watch right?

So, what movie am I talking here? Well of course, no other than Letters to Juliet!

I love Christopher Cross’s song Sailing.
Whenever I feel sad or something bothering me, I also listen to this song. It has this tone in it that’s really relaxed and easy.

Watching tv series at home

When I’m not working, one of my indulgences is watching streaming movies, most of the time; it’s to keep up with the recently shown films that I missed that you won’t normally see on regular television programs, and I don’t really want to spend too much on cable subscription that doesn’t necessarily have the series that I’m looking for. I’m not really after watching the latest movie, most of the time, I’m just looking for the series that’s no longer on air from tv torrents, for example, when I was looking for the show Felicity. It’s like having a cable subscription, only it’s free, and you will have unlimited access anytime you want. These movies can be downloaded and converted to any type of player, like your mp5 or your mobile phones, which is really convenient if you may say so. Now that’s a movie addict! I think, I’ve almost done with the compilation of my favourite shows, the ones that I missed and the ones that I loved watching over and over. Well then, I guess that’s all for now, and I will get a needed shut-eye, we still have class this morning. Happy watching and you all have a good day!

Tuesday Couch Potatoes : Order in the court

I so love this Tuesday Couch Potatoes theme because I’m so into courtroom dramas! I’ve been a fan of The Practice, Law & Order, didn’t really like Ally McBeal (carry!), Judging Amy, & the classic Boston Legal! Of course that in a lot of these scenes, most of them aren’t accurate because each case even if they have similarities varies from each other and considering USA is a big country, each of these states have different judicial procedures. What I love most are the punch lines, and my mind would really go wild in thinking “if it were me, this is what I’m going to say…” it gives me the blood rush, hehehe.

In movies, I think I can say these are my faves:

To Kill A Mockingbird (1962), I have the book and I read it. I give it five glistening stars!

Erin Brockovich (2000), Julia Roberts is just classic, and I liked the spunk of her character Erin.

I long to see this film; Amistad (1997). How cool can Matthew McConaughey get, huh?

And last but not the least; Law Abiding Citizen

Sorry if I had to squirm talking about these lovelies, but hey, I’m a movie fan!
