Coffeeholic?
Although none of my children are attracted to regular coffee, and they do, however, prefer to sip decaf, most mothers would warn me that coffee is bad for them. They say that it would stunt the growth of our children, and it got me into thinking, does it really?
I have searched around and found that there hasn’t really been much basis about this, and that the only side effect to this is hyperactivity due too so much caffeine intake -so moderation should always be in play.
I guess, the only sensible reason I can find for the stunt in growth is, yes when kids are given too much caffeine, they won’t be able to fall asleep or sleep when they need to, which is a big factor of their growth, and body’s regeneration.

Hi, I am a coffee addict myself. I found caffeine taken in moderation is good for migraine. You write well. Keep it up.

Hello Bading.
Dumaan lang. I guess if kids see us sipping coffee, chances are they’d want to do the same. I remember as a kid, my parents are both coffee lovers and so I was very curious. We were only allowed milk, chocolate, fruit juice and sometimes soda though. Now as a mom, my son knows what coffee and would like a sip if we let him. So, as parents I guess all we can do is be a role model to them. We can’t tell them not do drink coffee if they see us doing the very same thing.
