Meeting an old friend
I met up with an old high school friend today at Mall of Asia. It has been a good 17 years that we haven’t seen each other and today was one of those out-of-the-blue somethings. We’re like planning to meet up but not exactly today, but since we couldn’t wait to keep up, off we went and met! Of course, there were a lot of changes, and I noticed that she’s no longer wearing her eye glasses; I figured that she’s probably started wearing a contact lens. She still looked the same Che Che that I know. I missed her company. We talked about the things that happened after high school graduation, and she was excited to tell me about her 2 year old daughter. Yes, it has been that long, because she’s suddenly unable to believe that we’re both moms now. We used to be so concerned about our homework, grades, never about boys, but what to wear to church. We’re also church mates. I also heard about Cleng, she’s now a head nurse in one of the hospitals in the US. I also have a post about this on my other blog; Pinay Blogista. I’ve seen her daughter in her friendster, and she’s cute. I can see the changes in us both, we’re now more worried about our children’s welfare and now I’m concerned about my almost 20/20 vision, LOL!
